The P300. The autonomous manufacturing cell.
Operating since January 2026 in Noblesville, Indiana. Dual-ring LPBF, a programmable multi-emitter SSLM™ beam, and NOXBUILD™ intelligence that senses, predicts and corrects every layer. The P300 is the body of the stack.
What is in the machine
The P300 combines our own SSLM™ laser optics, NOXBUILD™ intelligence, and the PAQ qualification framework that records and assesses what happened during each build. Precixion owns the controller, so corrected parameters write straight back to the machine.
Four parts of the system
SSLM™ laser system
Our 7 kW laser beam system is designed to give close control of the melt pool, so each layer is deposited consistently — with build speeds substantially faster than conventional systems. Independent verification is in progress.
NOXBUILD™ in-process intelligence
NOXBUILD™ maps the melt regime before the laser fires (Studio), holds the build inside the window (Kernel), and checks every layer (Analyst).
PAQ
Precixion Qualification aggregates data from the NOXBUILD™ modules — Studio (prediction), Kernel (control) and Analyst (analysis) — into a structured report on the build. The intention is to characterize the actual part rather than infer from witness coupons, since geometry and size affect the outcome.
Reactive and hard-to-process alloys
The controlled process allows printing of magnesium — a lightweight but highly reactive metal that has been difficult to manufacture additively — alongside conventional alloys. This is a deliberate area of focus and a route to domestic supply of components that are otherwise hard to source.
